World class material from the famous Canadian locality Bicroft mine, which operated from 1956 to 1962. This vintage piece was part of a larger specimen that was housed at the Royal Ontario Museum! The crystallized portions are absolutely gorgeous dark burgundy color with even darker portions of rock surrounding the crystals. Uranium containing Thorite is hard to come by and this is quite an old piece with a great history. Very hot as well as beautiful.
