When I say RARE, I mean practically nonexistent. I have sold a few other beyond-museum-grade specimens from this pocket. This is the last and largest of this material. What I have left looks like pebbles in the presence of this monster. The ore from this mine was purchased by the US government to make nukes in the 1950's and very little specimens survived processing. The mine is a collapsing death trap and there are no accessible ore pockets left in the whole place.

Some of the secondary minerals are not even listed on the Mindat list. Uranopilite, Natrozippeite, Accents of gypsum crystals, and of course ultra powerful and dense Uraninite in all its glory.

A raging 1.8 Million cpm on the Radiacode 110.

Depending on where and how long you accumulate, the RC103 will creep up right under a million cpm.
