This is an oddity and an anomaly! The situation that led to the lab Grown creation of this specimen is quite a story. A friend ended up with some water soluble Uranium Minerals that rinsed off of a group of specimens from Utah. These were left in a tub out in the rain that stripped the Uranium crystals from some sandstone. While the liquid dried outside in the sun, a few other rocks in the tub grabbed hold of the evaporating Uranium Minerals and formed magnificent crystals. You can still see the underlying orange Gummite from Ruggles Mine, NH. This is a real Frankenstein piece consisting of water soluble Uranium minerals from Utah, on a host rock from New Hampshire! This does not exist anywhere else!
Beautiful formations on a stunning host rock with a one of a kind backstory. Intense and beautiful UV reaction of neon green and yellow.
