Trinitite was formed during the first modern atomic bomb test in 1945 at White Sands, New Mexico.
It was quickly made illegal to collect and bulldozed under. This comes from the vintage Ralph Pray Collection and is a very attractive and well priced piece as far as larger specimens go on the internet.
