Intense and potent, dark and dense Uraninite with silver Pyrite apparently following old wood grain. Pretty awesome reading for the size of the piece. Historic site with nothing left like this. The quality of this ore from this locality was the first of its kind on the Colorado Plateau and helped create Moab, Utah and other boomtowns during the Uranium craze of the 50s. Rare material.
